Client Overview
Audace is a Thailand personal care brand focused on hair solutions, including their black hair dye product line designed for individuals experiencing early greying. The company wanted to connect with a younger audience entering their late 30s and early 40s a generation that grew up influenced by anime culture.
Project Objective
Audace approached KP Comics Studios to create a 2D Japanese-style anime trailer that emotionally resonates with a younger demographic. The trailer needed to:
Feel like a real anime short film
Tell a touching love story
Highlight themes of memory, aging, and devotion
Seamlessly integrate the hair dye product without feeling like a commercial
The goal was to capture attention, create emotional impact, and deliver brand relevance through storytelling.
Our Creative Approach
We crafted a narrative around a couple who grew up together and remained in love through the years. As the woman begins showing signs of memory loss, the man tries everything to help her remember — bringing her favorite things, playing her favorite song on the piano, recreating old memories.
However, the emotional turning point comes when:
He dyes his hair black to look like his younger self and in that moment, she remembers him.
They embrace, and the story ends with hope and connection.

Art, Animation & Music Direction
The trailer was produced in a Japanese 2D cel animation style, featuring cinematic lighting, expressive character acting, and painterly backgrounds.
Before production began, our marketing team and director worked closely with Audace to propose a story direction and commercial concept designed to maximize emotional engagement. We explored narrative angles, audience psychology, and visual tone to ensure the final story would resonate strongly with younger viewers.
To support the storytelling, we also managed the music side of production hiring a professional singer who is also a VTuber, coordinating with the composer, and directing the mood and pacing of the original song.
Every keyframe went through our Sakkan check —a quality-control step used in Japanese animation studios.
This ensures:
Line consistency
Correct proportions
Cleaned-up expressions
Cohesive visual style across shots
It results in a polished, professional anime look throughout the entire trailer.
Results
The final anime trailer:
Delivered strong emotional impact
Connected naturally with younger viewers
Positioned the product in a meaningful way
Received positive reactions from both the client and viewers
Demonstrated how anime-style storytelling can elevate brand communication
The client was extremely satisfied with the quality and storytelling direction even surprised it's from Audace brand.
